Almost 2 months in and still lovin' it ...

We are just about two months in to our new life in Idaho and everyone is loving it!  We are halfway through the football season and the defense is greatly improved from last year.  The girls LOVE their new school ... Makayla says she likes it better than Tamura ... thank God.  We are just keeping busy with our daily routine and new friends.

Gameday

Great Grandma and Pap Bob left mid September ... just after we celebrated Papa Bob's birthday!  We had so much fun with them the month they were out here.

When Daddy traveled to his first away game we took a trip to Utah.  Bape and I took the girls to the Gateway Children's Museum on National Museum Day.

Another weekend Mom and Pam came and surprised the girls!

They tried to sneak back to California.

Daddy leaves early in the morning and comes home late at night on some weeks so he left the girls these notes.  So cute!

It's starting to get cold so the girls hang by the heater ...

... and they're amused by the frost on the grass ... they think it snowed!

This is just a cute pic of my little chef ...

Most recently Makayla and her friend, Morgan, got to ride on a float in the ISU Homecoming Parade and they performed at the football pre game show.

The girls' 1st day of school ...

Makayla started school on Wednesday, August 28th.  Steve and I took her to school and hung out on the playground (with other parents) so she would feel more comfortable.  I told her it's just like going to a park and not knowing anyone ... you play and after a while you make friends.  She ran to the monkey bars and went across a few times ... I could tell she was forcing herself to play and she felt awkward ... I can only imagine.  We probably went to early and gave her too much time to feel awkward ... woops.  One of the playground workers introduced Makayla to another little girl, Morgan, and Morgan took Makayla under her wing.  They  are in the same class too.  When it came time for us to leave Mak got a little emotional ... she didn't cry or throw a fit or anything but her eyes got teary and I think her nerves got the best of her.

When I picked her up from school she said she had a great day and made two new friends!  Woo hoo!  Steve and I said as long as the girls like their school, teacher, and friends we're good.

Nia's first day was today.  Mel was already ready and very excited to wake the girls up for school.

Nia had an orientation last week and today was shy as usual so I'm not sure how she felt.  I waited with her until the bell rang and walked her to her seat.  She sat very quiet  ...

Next, Malia and I were off to the gym.  She wanted to stay at school too so I convinced her that her school was at the Gold's Gym Kidz Klub ... hahahaha ... so here is a pic of Mel's first day of school!  She loved it and couldn't wait for me to leave her!  After running errands we went on the swings until naptime ;)

I will give and Update on Nia's first day and Mak's 3rd later so check back!

We're here ....

Saying goodbye was brutal.  We had to say goodbye to the boys a few days early because they left for Vegas for a football scrimmage ... everyone was crying ... except Mel and Nia who were sleeping.

The girls were great travelers.  After an emotional night of "see you laters" they got up super early so we could catch our flight.  Grandma came with to help the transition which was awesome.  We flew in to SLC, rented a car, and drove 2 hrs to Pocatello.

As soon as we got home the Face-timing began ... thank God for technology because everyone can "visit" often.

We took the girls to see their new school and make sure all of the registration was accurate.  They are excited to be Tendoy Tigers!

We got all of our Bengal gear and attended a few scrimmages ...

... and the girls are very excited about their new sandbox ... thank you Great Grandma and Papa Bob! ;)

Everything is pretty settled and official now .... I'm even a legal Idaho driver!

We've gone to local parks and playgrounds often and are settling in well.  We're very excited about being together in our new home.

Birthday going away party

While Steve was in town we had a multi purpose party ... we celebrated the girls' birthdays and our going away.
Malia turned 2 on June 28th.  Nia turned 5 on July 23rd.  Makayla turned 7 on August 10th.

Here are some pictures from that fun day!

They were so excited to open their gift from Grandma and Papa ...

... IPADS!!!!!!

The day of the party was on Noah's actual birthday so we had 4 cupcakes ... Nia and Mel were not very cooperative ...
